Two Turtle Doves...

Oh I love this time of year SO much. Tis the season to be Jolly. and I am quite jolly. Thanksgiving was great! I had to work Black Friday so it was a short trip but we ventured up to Ririe, Idaho to spend the holiday with Dan's family. The roads were absolutely terrible to drive on so it tooks us over 5 hours to get there. But we made it in time to play some games, eat like crazy and relax with the fam. We haven't seen everyone since we moved so it was really fun to be with them again! Our little nephews are getting so HUGE and adorable!

Things I'm thankful for:
Summer. Fall Leaves. Dan. He is just perfect for me and makes me laugh all the time. He lets me talk his head off, whether its every aspect of my day, every detail of the shows I just watched, or why I need to be a famous movie star and what I would do if I was. He raps with me. He thinks I am funny. He is so sweet to me and can cheer me up instantly. He's a good egg and I think I'll keep him. Computers. Sewing Machines. Money. Jobs. Family. We both have such awesome families! They are the absolute best people. They support and love us unconditionally and are really funny. Road Trips. Creativity. Lakes. TVs. House Boats. Laughter. Friends. We have the coolest, funniest friends ever! Dan gets so excited to see his friengs and is happier to be with them then almost anything else. Weekends with friends are the best. Tights. Primary Callings. Cousins. Gospel. It focuses on families, progression, and happiness and its what gets us by and makes us better people. Places to live. Vampire Diaries. Cars. Pictures. Food. I would die without food. I know that is a given. But seriously, mmmm good food is just so good. For example: edamome, Smash Burger, Waffles and Dinges Truck, Shake Shack, steak with gorgonzola cheese and mushrooms, fried green beans, ice cream, thanksgiving dinner, oh man I'm drooling... Clothes. Boots. Movies. Nieces and Nephews. Books. Man there is nothing like a good book. I'm reading MINI SHOPAHOLIC right now- it is so cute and hilarious. I love that series. Harry Potter. America. Music. Furniture. Cute Bedroom Sets. Vacations. We love going on vacations. We love visiting friends and want to go EVERYWHERE we can. Baths. Airplanes. Opportunities. Love.

And now it is CHRISTMAS SEASON. Christmas music has been playing on the radio since Halloween which is really early but I don't even care because I absolutely love Christmas. I am going to pop in my Josh Groban Christmas CD and listen to that everyday from now on. I can't wait to decorate our home. I got out all of our decorations last night and plan to set them up today! I am a little sad about one thing... we don't have a tree. Here is the story... Last year after Christmas Whitt and I hit up the sales and I bought all new ornaments and decorations and everything for Christmas. I went to get a tree and yipee they were 50% off! I was about to get one when I learned that if I waited a few days they would go down to 70% off. I was all about that so I waited. And then at like the end of February all of a sudden I realized I NEVER got a freakin tree. How could I have forgotten? I was so excited about the ornaments you would think I would obsess about the tree until I had one. But I completely forgot about it and then it was too late. I know I could go buy one now but I can just get such a good deal after Christmas that I must wait. So this year we will be getting a real tree. Which I am excited about but nervous- what if I kill it or it sucks? No, it will be wonderful and Santa will love it! Yay I can't wait for Christmas. Check out JUNE site for a Christmas post coming soon to show you what I love about Christmas. Also every Christmas my dad wears an elf hat that has the elf ears attached, big reindeer slippers and his Christmas Shirt. It is the best.

My thoughts have now moved from fall leaves to cuddling up in blankies by the fire and my tastes have moved from pumpkin dreams to peppermint and hot chocolate. Light up your houses, sing some carols, and send Santa a letter.
