Our Lil Peanut

I was talking to my friend Nattie last night about writing in our journals when we were little and how we always started it, "Dear Journal, Hi! How are you? Sorry it's been so long since I've written in you. I promise I will do better"! Oh funny kid us.

Dear Blog,

Hi! How are you? Sorry I haven't written on you in so long. I promise I will do better. So here is an update on my life these past three months I have been so rudely away.

First off, and most importantly, Dan and I are going to have a baby. How cool is that? The due date is December 23rd. Christmas baby! My game plan is to hold off and have the baby on December 30th so it isn't born right on Christmas. I think I have complete control in the matter so that is the plan. We found out we were with child back in April. It was pretty funny to see Dan's terrified face as he choked out, "I'm so happy." But we have now been able to hear the heartbeat and see our cute little nugget, plus my belly is poking out so the whole thing is more real and we can not wait. Our baby is going to be so awesome. I am now officially in the second trimester (as of today)! I am hoping to say good bye to the nausea and hello to more energy. One can wish but we shall see. Any way, it is crazy that there is a little human growing inside me. Pretty cool thing. Here is a picture of our allstar.
Doesn't it look just like me?
On to other cool stuff we have been up to... I went to Texas back in May to visit my bros Whittney and Ryan.

Back on the home front:
Dan and I both had birthdays! We are so much older and wiser now!

I went to the Toby Keith concert with my sisters! They are trying to turn me country. I do think cowboy boots are really cute so I guess there is a possibility.

It has been SO warm, and luckily, Dan got a slipnslide for his birthday.

We have been hanging out with our awesome friends! Bonfires, festivals, and the Rodeo. Man oh man I love summer!

Oh and also, back in April Dan and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary. How romantic. Sure do love that guy! I'm so happy to have him in my life and can't wait for the next year we have ahead of us.

Your Dentist's name is Crentist?

I just realized that I never put our leftover dinner from yesterday into containers. I actually didn't do anything with it, so it is just been sitting in the crock pot for 28 hours. Gross. I am going to gag big time cleaning that up.

Dan and I are sitting on the couch right now watching FACE OFF. This show is awesome. It is all about stage makeup. But crazy cool stage makeup. It is very impressive what they can do with makeup. I really wish I was that talented with makeup. Makeup.

Today Dan and I had dentist appointments so we took the whole afternoon off so we could get some things done as well as have clean teeth. I love getting my teeth cleaned, that silky smooth feeling afterwards is so nice. After that we ran some errands and got some yummy pumpkin chocolate chip bread from Great Harvest. mmmm. I like getting to spend time with my cute guy. I feel like we have been so busy with things lately that I haven't gotten to hang out with just him in a while. It was nice and reminded me why he married me. Because I am awesome and very fun to be around. ;)

Can I just vent for a second? I haven't been shopping in SO long and I am about to explode and spend a billion dollars. Thank goodness for Pinterest. Honestly. I am able to relieve some of my shopping desires by posting a million things to my clothes board and just imagine it is mine. I will say I am very proud of myself. Not that I am a crazy shopper, but I usually can't help but treat myself to a few things a month. Or a week. But we have high hopes of purchasing a home in the next month or so, so my purchases will be only absolute needs until then. Which is a sacrifice I am willing to make! Although, if anyone needs a shopping buddy, let me know. I will talk you into buying everything so I can live vicariously through you.

Speaking of Pinterest, this is what I am going to make soon:

and by soon I mean one day.

So, I may have mentioned that Dan and I are trying to finish the Book of Mormon by the end of February. We have prizes on the line if we are able to complete it. Let me just tell you, I am so going to win. I was really behind but have been playing catch up. There is no way Dan will finish in time, and I am determined to do so. I just re-read that, and I guess I shouldn't be so amped at beating Dan at something that we should both be doing anyway. It's not that I don't want him to finish, because I really do. I just gotta take my wins when I get them. :) But for real, it has been a big blessing in my life. I am not proud to admit this is the first time I've read it all the way through, but it has been super meaningful to me and I have tried really hard to understand what I am reading. Also, it is so interesting and full of hardcore battles. I know that it is true and am so happy we are blessed enough to have these words at our fingertips. #proudtobeLDS

Anyway, this is all for now. One day Dan and I will do more interesting things to make for more interesting reads. Until then, we are incredibly happy watching too much TV and going to bed earlier then most old people. Here's to great times now and super cool things to come!

What Up 2012

It is a rainy rainy day. I lurrrve it. It is a perfect day because Dan and I plan on doing absolutely nothing all day but hanging out with eachother. We do not get enough of those days!

It is also a good time to document my 2012 goals so far. I'm sure I will add on more as I think of them but here they are:

1. Make dinner more often! Dan is too good to me and makes dinner almost every night. He is a great cook and I love his food, but I want to give him a break and cook for him sometimes. Plus I need to get better because it is embarrassing how dumb I am in the kitchen.
2. Save more money! Always a good goal.
3. Buy a house! I can't wait and I really hope we are able to do it this year.
4. Read more books! There are tons on my list including Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, the Matched series, The Lucky One and the new Sophie Kinsella book coming out (!!).
5. Work out. I have been so lazy... like always. I really want to get on a routine where I am working out weekly. I just feel so much better when I work out- I eat and sleep way better too.
6. Read the Book of Mormon. Dan and I have a contest with this one. We decided we have to finish it by Feb. 29th. If we do we both get prizes! I've got a long way to go but I really love reading it!
7. Sew more. I love it and I need to do it!
8. Stop putting everything off. I always find that when I find something I want to do or make I end up saying, I will do it when I have more time or when I have a house or blah blah blah... I just need to knock that off and start getting things done. There is always a reason to not do something, so I need to make time to do it anyway!
9. Play guitar. I bought a guitar a few years ago, took a class, and now haven't played it over a year. That is dumb of me.
10. Try something new. Whether it is eating something new, going to a new place, making something, or just learning something new, I need to step out of my comfort zone and do more.
11. Be better. I need to find more ways to help others and better myself. Always something I want to be working on, but life gets in the way and I don't always try so hard.

So here is to a new year! It is going to be a GREAT one for us Moedl faces I just know it.

The Color Yellow

This is a tweet from my friend MB:
Seeing Daniel Radcliffe in person may have been the highlight of my year.
All I'm saying is, something like this has got to happen to me soon. Its just got to.
Changing topics from how I want MB's life... something that I have been hearing a lot lately is how important it is to find the good in life. Find what makes you happy and stay away from things that bring you down. I really like that. What's the point of being negative and complaining about everything? I'd like to think most people are more good than bad so if you look for the good in everything, you're bound to find it. I think this will make you a happy person all around and more fun to be around. I'm going to work harder at this I think.

So on that note: I'm really liking my new job. I work with super cool people and am having a pretty good time :so far. It really helps having a job I enjoy and makes having to wake up insanely early (7:30), much easier.

My boyfriend rocks. He has a full schedule of classes and is in the process of getting a new job. He HATES school and was out of it for so long that I thought it would be tougher going back. But he's getting great grades and is going to make millions one day. Plus, he always makes me dinner (I am a bad wife cuz I don't cook...) and makes me go to bed early so I'm not miserable at work. He is the bestest. And in a few weeks its our 3 year anniversary... WHAT THE WEIRD!? Crazy how fast its gone! again, he is the BESTEST.

Oh my gosh, my friends blogs are so effing cute, they always post cute things they have made around their homes, recipes, and gorgeous pictures. It makes me wish I was more talented in that aspect. So that is my new goal- to use their blogs, copy them, and pretend like I am just as creative.

I can't wait for summer! It is just around the corner and all I see are bright colors. I LOVE summer. I LOVE sunshiny days and sandals. I have big plans for this summer that will include me getting really tan and vacationing big time. Lately it has been snowing for a few hours during the day? WHY? I decided to protest that and will it to be summer by rolling up my jeans, wearing strappy sandals that wrap around my ankles, and a sun hat. It was a REALLLLLY good day. Dear Summer: I am soooo ready for you. I promise I will play outside, go swimming, and be happy if you just show your face.

Tonight my brother is bringing his date over and we will be eating shis-kabobs and playing games. I am muy excited, especially for the food. So I bid thee farewell because I must go get ready.

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey

Well I haven't updated in a while... my b. But things are going great. Dan and I both have jobs now... hallelujah. I am working for Clear selling 4G internet. Its a full time gig and so far so good. Dan just got a job selling internet tools to real estate agents. So we're both in the sales world. That probably means we'll both become really rich and too good to talk to any of you anymore. So we spend our days either working or schooling then come home too tired to do anything but eat and watch TV. This is what happened when we first got married... and we both got fatter. :)

We did discover a new TV show that I really enjoy. Its called The Big Bang Theory. Pretty hilarious. That adds to my now quite long list of shows I'm trying to follow. I can't help it, I just love too many things. Shout out to DVR and fastpasstv.com for making it possible for me to stop living my own life and to dedicate my time to the lives of those on TV.

So Dan and I have been living in my brothers basement apartment with my other brother. I'm sure one day we'll be big kids and be able to live on our own but now, instead of being crowded and awkward its actually so much fun. My family is so awesome and I love that we get to hang out with them a lot. I am subjected to hours and hours of Modern Warfare on the XBOX which has resulted in Dan thinking my brother is his favorite roommate. But other than that we just play games and eat all the time. Two of my favorite things!

Harry Potter Premier coming so soon and I can hardly wait. I think I have watched the new trailer a thousand times. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. One day we will find out Hogwarts is real as is Dumbledore.

BOOTS. I need boots. I want boots. I must have boots. Tis the season for me to be in love with all boots. I have found some adorable gray ankle boots and some dark tan knee high boots and so many more that I don't know if I can live without. If it rained boots right now I would be overjoyed.

After reading my friends blogs I have realized how happy some things make me. 1. Good Pics. I wish I was better at picture taking. I love looking at beautiful pictures. 2. FALL. Usually the end of summer really depresses me but I have seen so many fall pictures and read about fall treats that all I can think about is pumpkins, apples, and fall leaves. I want some apple cider, a pumpkin candle, and the 1st HP video. and some cute boots and cute jackets. Not too much to ask for right? 3. Sail Boats. Sail boats are pretty and they make me think of boat shoes which I also love. 4. Traveling. 5. Friends. I have awesome friends and most of them don't live very close so I'm thankful for blogs so I can still stalk them.

Word of the Day: Bazinga... meaning "take that" or "gotcha".

La la la.

Badabing!

Okay team. Here is an update on the wonderful, most thrilling lives of the Moedl's.

My semester is just about over- only one more day to go! Then I get a two week break and then its back to school for my final semester! Graduation can't come any sooner! Very excited. We have a few trips planned for after graduation and I just hope we can really do all of them! So I have been fairly busy with school, work, and trying to get a business up and running. Things are coming along good with that. Whittney and I are going down to Utah in 2 weeks to sell our products at a Women's Expo with some of my family! I can't wait, but I have a lot to do before then! We just got our business cards... and we may have bought a little more than we will ever use but I'm happy about them. I'll let you know when our sites are complete! I just finished reading The Last Song. I loved it. It was sad, like all Nicholas Sparks books, but it was also happy. The movie was really great too, I was impressed with Miley Cyrus. Both made me cry, but I loved them! I need a new book to read so any suggestions would be fab. Lastly, I am so freakin excited for warm weather. I am sick of these teasing games- it will be sunny one day and then snowing the next. Just give me spring! I can't wait for swimmers, shorts, and sunshine!

Mr. Daniel is doing well. He works all the time, poor guy. But he got a new video game so that is keeping him plenty happy. He got a new "shmaga"...(I have no idea how it is spelled but that is how its pronounced...I think). It is something like a scarf but good to wear in the desert, as a terrorist, or a military person. I dunno, but he thinks its incredibly cool. I came home the other day and he was playing his dragon slaying video game wearing tight sweat pants, a tank top that says, "Ask Me If I Care" and his shmaga. It was hilarious and I only wish I would have taken a picture. I'm sure it will happen again tho, so I will be better prepared with a camera next time. He is missing his friends- they all moved away, and he only has Whittney and I to hang out with. I can't tell if he is sick of us talking about fabric, disney channel, and gossip girl yet but he's been a good sport. He got to go visit his buddies Matt and Levi a few weekends ago, which was good, but I think he needs a big time campout with all his friends real soon.

Here are a few pictures of our lives lately:
First- pictures from Macbeth, which consumed my life this last semester.

I was a witch double, so I got to hang out underneath the stage and drag dead bodies down.

That is me in the white dress on the end.

I said forever ago that I would post a pic of our new car that is not so new anymore, but here it is. What a trusty vehicle.

We went to a MADISON LIGHTS concert the other night. The drummer (second one from the left) is our friend from work. They are REALLY good!

My friendypoo Steph got back from her mission just a little bit ago and came to visit me! YAY! We got friendship shirts.

DROID DOES

My parents came to visit a few weekends ago. It was awesome. I loved having them here. We saw Avatar, which was really good. Dan decided its a mix between Pocahontas and Fernguly, which I would say is an accurate description.

Last weekend, our friend Matt came up from Salt Lake and stayed with us for a few days. We went shooting, watched a dumb movie, and ate a lot of junk. I'm so glad he came up, I know Dan misses him and it was good for the boys to have some guy time.

Our cute lil nephew Sky was blessed this last Sunday. He is adorable. It was really great for Dan to be a part of that. And, really fun to hang out with Dans family!

I live at school. I'm assistant stage managing Macbeth and also am an extra in it (this is for a class). It is a lot of fun, but a lot of time. I'm at school 6 days a week and sometimes from 9am to 11pm. Its tough, I miss my husband and friends. BUT, its going to be a really amazing show!! Lots of blood. I feel bad for Dan because I get stressed out so easily nowadays, but I have decided at least once a week I have to do something for me, that has nothing to do with school. It has helped a lot.

Whittney and I are starting a business together!!! It will hopefully be up and running very soon. It is called JUNE. We're selling things we make. We will let everyone know when the website is completed. Whittney is amazing at it, and has really cute stuff to sell. I have a few things, but as soon as this semester is over I will have more!

We got a new car! Unfortunately my car completely broke down a few weeks ago (while I was driving to school--not fun). Then about 2 weeks later Dan's car stopped working so great. That is what I call unlucky. Anyway, we were able to get a new car- a silver MAZDA 6. We love it. I will post pics as soon as I get around to taking some. I have to be careful not to speed in it because I'm not used to having a car that goes over 55mph on the highway. teehee teehee.

I am drinking strawberry kiwi juice right now. It is really hitting the spot. So delicious. I have been drinking too much soda lately.

I'm reading the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson series again because the TENTH ONE JUST CAME OUT. I'm very very excited about it. If you haven't read these books, YOU SHOULD. They are incredibly easy reads and so so hilarious. I laugh out loud on nearly every page. They are about a 14 year old british girl Georgia, and her growing up. She is so funny. Love them.

WHERE IS GOSSIP GIRL? Is it back on yet? I haven't seen anything for it. I am so not okay with this, as Gossip Girl is my happy place.

Welp, thats all folks. Holla.
