Lullabies and RocknRoll

This weekend I got to go down to Utah to visit my family. My sister Erin just had a baby so I got to hang out with her and get to know little Hailey! She is so tiny. Erin put an open book next to her and she was just as big. She hardly ever cries, just sleeps all the time. When she starts waking up she smiles a lot and it is so adorable.
Look at that squashy face! so precious!

Kaitlyn the big sister! She is such a good helper. She always wanted to hold Hailey and give her hugs. She kept asking Erin if she could burp her. What a good sister. I don't know if she has totally grasped the meaning of sister tho because she kept saying, "Where is baby Hailey's mom and dad?" She loves the baby but I think she kept thinking hailey's parents were going to come pick her up soon. She cracks me up.

I have been wanting to play guitar for a really long time but I have just never gotten around to making time for learning. My little sister Jessie is a stud on the guitar. In high school I played a little bit with my brother but have forgotten basically everything he taught me so Jess is my new teacher. We stayed up way too late every night I was down in Utah rockin out. I'm not very good yet but I'm going to keep practicing. Luckily I can read tabs now so I can teach myself a few more songs. I just have to get my own guitar now!

Waterfalls, Bocci, and Tinfoil Dinners

I'm so glad it is finally starting to feel like summer! We have been able to get out and enjoy the nice weather a little bit and I love it! We went to Mesa Falls with the Evans' and the Kulisch Klan. I had never been so it was a lot of fun. We had a picnic there and then walked around the water fall for a little bit.
cool waterfall!
After Mesa Falls we wanted to check out this place called Cave Falls. So we drove for over an hour and never found anything. It was a bummer but we decided to stop at this park and play bocci ball. Girls of course dominated every game... or should have anyway.

Then we went up to Green Canyon with Evans, Kulischs, Andy and Nattie and went swimming, had tinfoil dinners, and played some football.

Oh the Joys of Today

Today my sister is going to be giving birth to a lovely little girl. I CAN'T WAIT!!

So right now I am sitting at school doing some homework. I'm kind of bored so I decided to blog instead. Here I am just minding my own business when this guy comes and sits across from me. I normally wouldn't care but he keeps clearing his throat and making noises like he is going to hawk a loogie and he is sniffing really intensely. If anyone knows me at all you know that this is the grossest thing to me ever. I think I might throw up.

Anyway... school is quite lame this semester. I don't really love any of my classes but thats okay. Thats what I get for going in the summer. I am doing a practicum with Whittney Evans and I love it. It is AWESOME. We are throwing a Benefit Party for my brothers company. He has an online charity called the Global OutReach Foundation. It is really great because we get to raise money for children in Tibet who don't have anything. I hope we can make enough money to make a difference! Today me and whitt are going to go around to businesses and see if anyone wants to make donations. Hopefully it works out!

Another awesome aspect of my life is I am on a football team. We are called RESTRAINED. and we won our first game. I ripped a girls shirt on accident but I guess that is just how hard core I am.

So basically that is today!
