Under the Mistletoe (shorty, with you)

911 911 911 away. oh how much fun it is to ride in an ambulance all day! Hey!

That is the version of Jingle Bells my primary class has been signing to me each Sunday. I wish I remembered the rest of the words because it is pretty funny.

So it is one right now and I am still lying in bed. I have the worst sore throat ever, you know the kind where you can hardly swallow and talking takes too much effort to deal with? That is where I am at. I hate that! The good news: I am going to watch a serious chick flick today and love every second of it.

Just finished an amazing series- The Maze Runner. I thought it got better and better as it went on. It is about a boy who wakes up in this maze and can't remember anything about his life. There are a bunch of other boys who have been there for a while and none of them remember anything either. They have to work together to survive and all they know is someway, somehow, they have to solve the maze. Sound intense? It is. Read it.

Dan is really doing so great at his new job. I'm so proud of my sweet nugget for being such a hard worker and so good looking at the same time. I went to a work party, it was saweet. I couldn't find a dress I loved so I decided to make one, and it actually turned out to be one my favorite things I have made! Maybe I am bragging but whatever.

My sister and I ran in a 10K for my work. I wasn't prepared and it was kind of hard. Really fun tho, I am glad we did it. I wish that I would keep up with my running so when I do decide to run a race, it isn't a near death experience for me. I say that, but I haven't ran since that race, not even once. Oh well, laziness brings such joy to this life.

We went to St. George for Thanksgiving. All my cousins came down too so it was totally baller. The trip included some football, golf, black friday shopping (where I scored a sweet storage ottoman... I made my lil sister run and fight the masses to get it for me and she ended up hitting a lady in the head with it... so proud), minute to win it games, swimming, and food. So much food. It was such a fun trip- I love getting together with my whole family.

Now that the Christmas Season is upon us, my fam went up to Temple Square and checked out the lights. It is gorgeous up there. Christmas brings such a peaceful feeling, especially on Temple grounds. We ended the adventure with dinner at Tucannos. It was such a nice way to end our night- with pure gluttany. Seriously, I ate until I almost died. Vair Vair enjoyable.

It snowed the other day. It hasn't really snowed a lot so far this year, but I just love it. Let's be honest, if it snows too much more I am going to hate it, but for now the light snow every now and then is so pretty and makes me feel all homey. I love this time of year. I put Christmas up before Thanksgiving because I was too excited to wait, but now it is really Christmas time so it is wonderful. Plus I get to listen to my Groban Christmas CD every second and no one can tell me to turn it off. Man that guy can sing. And speaking of the great JOSH, did anybody see him on The Office as Andy's little brother? That was really funny. Anyway- I still have so much Christmas shopping to do. There are only 10 more days and I am sort of freaking out. I did however get my brother's present and it is so funny. I can't say what I got him in case for some weird reason he decides to read my blog, but just know, it is a winner.

Now I would like to entreat you to a billion pictures documenting our every move. All of the Thanksgiving trip pics are from my wonderfully talented cousin Katie, not me... all my pictures come from my phone.

Top O the Marnin' to Ya!

OCTOBER... is already over? Wowza mates, that went fasty fasty. It has been quite the busy month for us Model's. I mean Moedl's. Dan started his new job, which is awesome, and so far so great. He is doing loans and has been super busy licensing and training as well as starting a new semester. October happens to be the busiest time of the year at my job so I have been working long long hours. We have learned that while going to bed at 9pm may be totally lame, it is def a necessity. I can't complain though, we have been getting our party on too, and playing a lot with da fam and friengs. ALSO, fall has finally shown it's beautiful face and my boots, scarves, and jackets have made there way to the front of my closet. Oh I love this time of year. Pumpkin treats and hot apple cider are the only things I will be eating for the next month. Here is documentation that we are fun people:

My freakin cute cousin BROOKIE DOOS got married to WILL WALK. Love them, love her dress.

Bridesmaids. So silly.

Dan the Man, Taylor's wife or whatever, Taylor

sparklers are fun to write your name with.

Cousin lovin. Brooke's bridal shower!

All the girlies at the shower. This shower was suppper fun. We succeeded in embarrasing Brooke beyond belief which is always the goal.

Annual Family Pumpkin Patch Outing.

Halloween. Any excuse to dress up is good with me. Dan is a cute bunny and I am a leprechaun. I told you that in case you are dumb and couldn't tell from this picture.

Harry Potter, Taylor Swift, Fairy Princess, Pirate, Witchy Witch. SO cute.

Halloween Partaaaayyyyy. We sure know how to get down with our bad selves. Delicious food at this here party and a very spooky fog machine.

Us two hardcore lucky ducklings at the CELTIC THUNDER Concert. If you don't know of this group, please do yourself a favor and look them up on the You Tube. They are an Irish singing group of dreams. Seriously I love them.
We will now be rewarding ourselves with a trip to Vegas with some pals to see the Boise State game. The game is because I love my husband so dearly, but I really intend to getting a new pair of boots. Possibly similar ones to these.... oooooohhhh, awwwww...

The Greatest Show On Earth...

Get Fired Up! It's the greatest show on earth! ...
Dan and I went to the Ringling Brothers Circus tonight with my fam. I think I was more excited then my neices. There were tight rope walkers that rode bikes across the tight rope, acrobats that did all kinds of flips over each other, trapeze artists that blew my mind, beautiful horses and ZEBRAS that did spins, and a circle of at least 12 tigers all around one guy that walked on thier hind legs and did tricks. And the elephants. Oh the elephants were so awesome. They balanced on tiny little cup things. One even did a hand stand. I wanted to be the girl riding the elephants and standing on their backs.

It made me think of Water for Elephants and I just wanted to go take care of one of the elephants and teach it tricks. Which PS. I loved that book and that movie. So good. I wonder if circus life is still like that.

We took tons of pictures on Dan's phone but for some reason none of them saved. boo. Oh well, best night ever!

Texas Forever

I am eating Peanut Butter M&Ms right now. They are really hitting the spot. mmm.

This last week we went to TEXAS! It was fabity fab fab! I haven't been back for 5 years so I was SO excited! Our Evans buddies live in Corpus now so we went to visit them! Oh I love it there. I would love to move back some day, but I don't think I would be able to convince the boy I live with. We went to San Antonio for two nights but just stayed down town so I wasn't able to go up to my old stomping grounds, but it was just good to be back in the heat and beautiful south. and it was the BEST EVER to get see Whittney and Ryan. I miss them so so much and can't wait til they move here. (they don't have a choice). Last minute, a bunch of our other friends decided to come down too so it ended up being quite the partayyy! We went to Schliterbaahn Waterpark, The Alamo, the beach, yummy restauants, annnd I got to see Whitt's amazing boutique she works at! It was the best.

Ryan just wanted to go get some ice cream...

we made up a sweet game called CORNCCI- mix between corn hole and bocci. Vair fun game.

Our sand turtle RoseMaria

Breakfast in the ghetto. It was DELICIOUS.

We beat the boys SOOO bad at corncci. Go Team Texas Forever!

We ordered calzones and they brought out the biggest things I've ever seen.

I HEART RYAN and WHITTNEY. I HEART TEXAS.
