A Statue of a Greek God

So I started reading the TWILIGHT series again. I shouldn't have because just like the other 3 times, I am completely addicted and can't think of anything else. Last night I had a dream that I had to get these funding reports done for work but I was torn between whether or not to do them for Edward or for Jacob. AH! I mean if that were a real situation, then obviously I would do it for Edward. But seriously I love these books and I have already read the first two in less than 4 days. Poor Dan.
But about these books... of course they are so captivating. I mean it is the most beautiful, perfect creature to ever have walked the earth and he has fallen in love with a plain human. Oh the wonder of it. I love Edward. How could she even think to choose Jacob? I mean okay he's a great friend and a lot of fun, but Edward is just so in love with her and so much cooler. Oh he's amazing. I'm hoping in the next book Jacob will imprint on someone and that will be that. I am nervous about the next book tho because what if everything doesn't happen the way we want it to?! Obviously it won't but I don't know if I can take it if Bella doesn't become a vampire. **shudder**
Well as soon as I am done with this series again, i am reading the HOST. I can't believe I haven't read it yet. Hopefully it will be more sappy love that I can fall in love with again!!

PS: I actually sent in my headshot and profile to be in the TWILIGHT MOVIES. well theres always the next movie.

NBA Horror

I can NOT believe that the Spurs are down 3-1. Dan is elated about this and keeps asking me what size jersey I wear so he can get me a Lakers one. ew. Last nights game was depressing. Mostly because we were SO SO close. If only the dang ref would have called a foul. Then we could have at least gone into overtime. AH. well i still love my Spurs and Dan still of course loves his Lakers. yuck.

The BATTLE

So as the NBA playoffs continue, we now enter into the SPURS vs LAKERS round. This is wonderful thing because I am a big time SPURS fan. Honestly, I don't really like watching the games at all unless they are playing. :) But Dan is a huge LAKERS fan. I know, how can we even like eachother? But we love the battle and have already made bets on the series. If the SPURS win then Dan owes me $30 and has to wear all spurs clothes to work. If the LAKERS win then vice versa. Even tho my boys were defeated last night in a horrible, horrible way, I have faith that they will be victorious. Dan however, is positive his team will make it through. I guess we will find out soon enough!!!

Family Home Evening

Last night we had our first family home evening. We decided we would do a lesson and then a talent and a treat. :) That's what my family did growing up so I wanted to do the same thing! It was so much fun. We had a lesson on goals and we wrote down our personal goals and then some family goals. It was good to get us going on somethings we need to be doing. THEN, the real fun began when Dan did his talent. I am so proud of him and happy to be his wife of course. Sorry it is sideways, I couldn't figure out how to turn it. If you can't hear it, his talent is spinning around his arm but never moving his hand once. Very impressive.

Mackin in San Diego

We went to the beautiful beaches of San Diego for our honeymoon. It was so so much fun! We went to the ZOO and the beach and just relaxed a ton. It was wonderful. We were even at the beach the same day a shark attacked!
Dan almost had to run out there and punch that thing in the face! If you ever go there, you should go to Wahoo's fish taco's. It is Dan's favorite place ever! Anyway, it was sunny, hot, and sooo amazing!

How it Begins

Here we are beginning our life together! Who would have known that moments before these pictures Dan tried to run away from me in the Temple and we couldn't find him for almost 45 minutes!! Well even with that this was the best day ever! We were married in Salt Lake and had our reception at the Alpine art center! It was a long, crazy day but we loved every minute of it!
